Catholic Leadership Intensive Arch Min Archdiocese of Brisbane

Equipping Today’s Leaders For Tomorrow’s Church

In these 10 sessions, clergy and laity will learn side-by-side as we explore contemporary leadership practices integrated with scripture and the example set by Jesus and His followers: think Brené Brown, Simon Sinek and Stephen Covey meet Jesus, St Peter and St Paul.

Join us as we seek to build intentional leadership in our parishes and communities.

We are not living in an era of change, but a change of era

What The Intensive Covers:

“Be leaders wherever it behoves you to be. Leaders of thought, leaders of action, leaders of joy, leaders of hope, leaders of the construction of a better world.” – Pope Francis

“When we change our thinking, we change our lives.” – Stephen Covey

“Not finance. Not strategy. Not technology. It is teamwork that remains the ultimate competitive advantage, both because it is so powerful and so rare.” – Patrick Lencioni

“To get on a path to success, we need a plan. To achieve success, we need to be flexible when the path is blocked.” – Simon Sinek

“Culture eats strategy for breakfast.” – Peter Drucker

“Change cannot be put on people. The best way to instil change is to do it with them. Create it with them.” – Lisa Bodell

“As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” – Proverbs 27:17

“Greatness is doable. Greatness is many, many individual feats, and each of them is doable.” – Angela Duckworth

“Emotional intelligence is a wonderful adjunct faculty to the gifts of the Spirit.” – Most Rev. Justin Welby, Archbishop of Canterbury Emeritus

“Integrity is choosing courage over comfort… practicing your values, not just professing them.” – Brené Brown
