This year’s Advent resource, In Holy Stillness, invites us to pause amid the busy rhythms of our lives and to enter a holy stillness that opens our hearts to God-with-us.
Advent is a special season that reminds us that growth in holiness begins in the silent soil of waiting, and hope flourishes when we allow ourselves to rest in God’s promise.
In Holy Stillness is an inspiring Advent resource that will help round out the final weeks of the Jubilee year, themed “Pilgrims of Hope”, finishing on 6 January 2026.
This Advent resource has been developed for both individual prayer and small groups. Advent small groups can be an excellent way to gather together, to share life, faith, and to pray with one another.
The beautiful artwork used on the front cover, and provided throughout the book, is titled “Benedictus Fructus” and comes to us from the artist José Luis Castrillo.
